About me
I am a Uruguayan telematics engineer (specializing in communication systems) with a Master's degree in Mathematical Engineering and Computer Science. My academic interests in machine learning and cybersecurity led to a collaboration with CERTuy to enhance the detection of Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) targeting government websites. This collaborative effort was published in Memoria de Investigaciones en Ingeniería Nr.18 and earned recognition from Uruguay's National Academy of Engineering in the computing category.
I began my professional career in Montevideo before gaining international experience in the software industry. In 2020, I relocated to Warsaw, Poland, to join Google as a Technical Solutions Engineer for Google Cloud, subsequently transitioning to a Site Reliability Engineer role in ProdSec (Security and Privacy). As the first SRE based in Poland, I played a pivotal role in establishing the site, onboarding engineers, and promoting SRE principles. In 2022, I moved to Copenhagen, Denmark, where I am currently working with a focus on cloud infrastructure, software system performance optimization and reliability.
